Posted At Last

I was down to the wire today with finishing touches on cards. I've been busy doing other things and have let my card making go by the wayside for awhile.

The first card is for a friend and there will be a little gift certificate enclosed.

The recipe:
Stampin Up's Just Like You, Itty Bitty Backgrounds, and So Many Sayings. SU's Word Window punch is perfect for punching out that one little phrase from the So Many Sayings blocks. Also, the tag punch is great for a finished look on corners. I used Bold Bright paper and ink and added a touch of ribbon that I purchased at Hobby Lobby on half price.

I love carrying my paper samples with me as can get ribbon that really looks good with my Stampin Up papers.

A good friend is retiring from many years as an elementary school teacher. I wanted something cheerful to send her at the start of this next wonderful phase of her life.

Recipe:
Stampin Up's Just Like You set, Bold Bright paper and ink, and that nifty little tag punch for the corners. Again, I picked up ribbon from Hobby Lobby and a word stamp from Stampabilities.

I hope they like their cards.

No Fun

I seem to have been missing in action. I seem to find so many other things to do each day that card crafting has not been happening. I'm SORRY! I don't intend this to be a permanent state of my being. I plan on getting back to it and playing. Please forgive and come back again.
